• Schedule Details: Full Time, Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (8-hour day shifts)
• Certifications Needed: BLS
• Experience Needed: 3 years
• Patient Population: Adults (acutely ill with a wide variety of medical problems). 
• Patient Volume: 1:14-18 patient ratio.
• Practice Setting: Gastroenterology/Internal Medicine practice setting (Acute Care Hospital; Trauma Level Adult III IV).
• Department Details: Automated medication dispensing system: Pixys.
• Duties: Evaluate medical problems, request specialty consultations, provide patient/family education, prescribe/monitor medications, provide medical/emergency interventions, and refer complex/high-priority cases to collaborating physicians. Ensure documentation compliance for coding and billing.
• Support Staff: 1 Provider, Anesthesia (in each procedure), 1 NP, and 1 LPN.
• EMR: Epic

Licensing and Privileging:

• License: An active New York state license is required.
• Willing to License: Yes
• Estimated Privileging Timeline: 60 days
