Shift Details

• Estimated Start Date: November 30, 2026
• Requested Date of Coverage and Schedule: Start Date: November 30, 2026 (Ongoing). Coverage Needed: Seeking 4-5 days of coverage per week. Orientation: An orientation shift must be scheduled prior to December 27 (ideally the week before the assignment).
• Schedule Details: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only (no call or weekends). Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (8-hour clinical days).
•  Patient Volume: Averages 7-10 patients per day (7-12 follow-ups and 12-15 active treatment patients per shift).
• Practice Setting: Outpatient, Inpatient (Stroke Certified, Trauma Level 3, PEDs Level 2).
• Required Skills: Brachytherapy (Intracavitary/Mammosite), External Beam Therapy (Linear Accelerator, Rapid Arc/VMAT, Electrons), Techniques (Conventional/Conformal Therapy, IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, SRS), and Treatment Planning (Conventional, Beam shaping/MLC, 3D CRT, IMRT, PET CT or MRI Image Fusion, Electronic Portal Imaging, Clinical Trials).
• Duties: Both Inpatient and Outpatient required. Rounding on assigned patients. One day per week is reserved for On Treatment Visits (OTV). No admissions required.
• Support Staff: 1 Clinical Manager, 1.6 FT RN (OCN), 0.6 MST, 5.4 Staff RTT. Additional support includes 1.6 RadOncs, 2 FT Physicists, 2 FT CMDs, Nurse Navigators, Research, In-House Pharmacy, In-House Palliative Care, Spiritual Care, Financial Counselor, and Medical Nutritional Treatment.
• Supervision: No APP or resident/teaching supervision required.
• Technology/Equipment: Hospital EMR is Epic; Treatment EMR is ARIA RO (completely paperless and filmless). Siemens SomaTom CT Simulator, Varian TrueBeam (w/ CBCT, VMAT, The Edge SRS Package, and Vison RT/OSMS), Varian Trilogy (w/ CBCT & VMAT), and Elekta-Nucletron HDR with Oncentra.
• Facility Accreditation: ACR, ACOS, HFAP, NSABP with the Breast Center, and QOPI Certified with Medical Oncology.
