Shift Details:

• Practice Setting: Inpatient (Stroke Certified, Trauma Level 2)
• Duties: Rounding on assigned patients, neurological consults, and stroke. (No admissions required). Ability to perform nerve conduction EMGs is a plus.
• Support Staff: 2 PA/NPs. (APPs work Monday-Friday, with potential for weekend coverage).
•  Supervision: Supervision of Advance Practice Providers is required. No resident or teaching supervision required.

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Neurology Hospitalist to join our team in Missouri. This locum tenens position offers a unique opportunity to work in a stroke-certified, Level 2 trauma center. The ideal candidate will be board eligible and possess an MD or DO credential.

The role involves a 7 on / 7 off schedule with shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Night coverage is provided by V-Neuro from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The position requires managing a patient volume of 10-15 patients per shift, focusing on inpatient care.
