  • Weekend coverage from Friday at 12:00 PM to Monday at 7:00 AM

  • 12p-7a Blocks: 1/15-18, 22-25; 2/12-15, 19-22; 3/26-29
• Call Details: Average callback per day (including rounding) is 2-4 hours.
• Number of Shifts Needed per Month: 3 weekends
• Procedures: No TAVRs
• Certifications Needed: DEA controlled Substance Registration Certificate
• Patient Population/Case Load: Adults (18+)
• Case Mix: Acute Care Hospital
• Department Details: 163 hospital beds. Department focuses on urgent surgery (from cath lab to surgery); if stable, patients wait until Monday, and patients go from ICU to home. The surgeon is there for backup after consult.
