  • 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM Blocks: December 21-28; January 25 - February 1
• Coverage Type: Call Only (2nd Call / Backup) Providers will only be called for assigned patients in the practice, not for unassigned hospital patients.
• Call Details: Backup call to the laborist with a 30-minute response time required.. Providers do not have to be onsite for call coverage but must be within 30 minutes from the facility and available if called in.
• Call Volume: Averages 3 phone consults, 5 patients seen, and 3 admissions per 24 hours.
• Patient Volume: 3-5 patients per shift. The facility averages 200 deliveries per year.
• Certifications Needed: ACLS, BLS
• Facility Type: Inpatient (Trauma Level 3, Stroke Certified)
• Required Skills/Procedures: Low risk pregnancy, High risk pregnancy, FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE), OB Ultrasounds (Performance/interpretation, Level I/Screening, Level II/Targeted), Amniocentesis, Routine delivery, Vaginal delivery, Low forceps, Decision-making for c-section, and Office/minor gynecology (IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.).
• Support Staff: 1 PA/NP, 4 MAs, and 3 Office Staff (No APP or resident supervision required).
• EMR in Use: Cerner
• Trauma Level: 3
