Shift Details

• Call Details: Primary Call 1:8 (Currently taking the post-call day off)
• Certifications Required: ACLS; BLS - BLS required for all. ACLS required if requesting conscious sedation privileges)
• Case Mix/Duties: General anesthesia (Adult/Peds), OB, Vascular surgery, Cath lab, Orthopedics, Spine, Thoracic, healthy peds, occasional NORA, and basic nerve blocks. (No neurosurgery).
• Required Procedures/Skills: Epidural and Spinal anesthesia, Vent Management (Invasive/Non-invasive), Central line, Arterial line, PA catheter, Dialysis catheter, Chest tube insertion, Bronchoscopy, Temporary transvenous pacemaker, Transforaminal cases (lumbar/cervical), Fluoroscopy-guided nerve blocks, Epidural steroid (Lumbar/Cervical), Post-op epidural and extremity blocks.
• Team Structure: Join a group of 10 anesthesiologists. (Independent contractor model).
• Facility Details: 14 Operating Rooms. Main campus includes inpatient/mother-baby unit, inpatient, and outpatient surgery.
• Trauma Level: 3
• EMR System: Epic

Licensing and Privileging

• License: An active Indiana state license or an IMLC membership is required.
• Willing to License: Yes
• Estimated Privileging Timeline: 60 days
