Shift Details

• Estimated Start Date: November 23, 2026
• Requested Date of Coverage and Schedule: November 23 - 26, December 1 - 4, and December 29 - January 1
• Schedule Details: 24-hour on-call shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 AM). Weekends and Call are required.
• Number of Shifts Needed per Month: 3 - 7 days per month
• Required Procedures: Balloon Angioplasties, Coronary Angioplasty, Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI), Heart Catheterization, and Coronary Angiograms
• Required Reads: EKGs, ECHOs, and Stress tests (including nuclear stress).
• Responsibilities: Expected to respond to ALL cardiology calls for the hospital and provide general cardiology consults as needed.
• Certifications Needed: ACLS; Covid-19 Immunization; DEA Controlled Substance Registration Certificate
• Group Size: 2 Interventional Cardiologists in the group (other providers will be present during locum coverage)
• Practice Setting: Inpatient/ EMTALA Call
• EMR in Use: Epic

Licensing and Privileging

• License: An active Kentucky state license or an IMLC membership is required.
• Willing to License: No
