Shift Details

• Schedule Details: Combined Inpatient and Outpatient (Clinic and Call)
  • The provider will share call responsibilities with one other Cardiologist. The locum will be required to cover one weekend per month.
• Number of Shifts Needed per Month: 1 weekend per month
• Procedures: Stress tests, Generator changes, Loop recorder insertions, Echocardiogram (Echo) readings, Cardioversions
• Certifications Needed: ACLS;ATLS;BLS
• Patient Population/Case Load: 10-12 patients per shift
• Case Mix: Outpatient, Inpatient
  • Providers will typically complete all hospital-based work and inpatient consults in the mornings, followed by seeing patients in the outpatient office/clinic in the afternoons.
• Number of Beds: 4
• EMR in Use: athenahealth; MEDITECH
• Additional Notes: The ability to perform Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEEs) is highly preferred, though the facility notes it is not a deal-breaker if the candidate does not have this skill.
