Shift Details:

- Requested Date of Coverage and Schedule: Rotational: 1 week on/off or 2 weeks on/off, starting and ending Thursday at 5 PM.
- Schedule Details: One week on one week off (will consider 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off)
- Thursday: 5 PM–8 AM (night call)
- Friday: 8 AM–5 PM (in-house); 5 PM–8 AM (night call)
- Saturday: 8 AM–8 AM (24-hour call)
- Sunday: 8 AM–8 AM (24-hour call)
- Monday–Wednesday: 8 AM–5 PM (in-house); 5 PM–8 AM (night call)
- Thursday: 8 AM–5 PM (in-house)
- Shift Details:
- Schedule to start and end on Thursdays at 5pm.
- For clarity, Mon-Fri will be on site, 8a-5p in person. The physician will be providing stress test coverage, reading graphics, procedures (TEE/DCCV) and inpatient hospital consultations.
- Certifications Needed: Covid-19 Immunization; Flu – Influenza
- Patient Population/Case Load: Adult only demographic
- Case Mix: PB Cardiac testing call coverage
- Practice Setting: Inpatient
- Support Staff: There are currently 3 Cardiologists and 3 APPs within the practice.
- Number of Beds: 8 ICU Beds
- Day to Day Details: Thursday 5p-Thursday 5p. Mon-Fri 8a-5p in house providing stress testing coverage, graphics interpretation, in-patient consults, and procedures (TEE/DCCV).
- EMR in Use: Epic
Licensing and Privileging:
- License: An active Maine state license or an IMLC membership is required.
- Willing to License: No
- Estimated Privileging Timeline: 90 days

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cardiology Physician to join our team in Maine on a locum tenens basis. Day to day
Thursday 5p-Thursday 5p. Mon-Fri 8a-5p in house providing stress testing coverage, graphics interpretation, in-patient consults, and procedures (TEE/DCCV). There are currently 3 Cardiologists and 3 APPs within the practice 8 ICU beds
Practice details
- Not solo coverage
- Shift pattern: Shift+Call
- Setting: 1 week on 1 week off- Thursday 5p-Thursday 5pm. Night call and hourly
Case mix
- In patient only (plus testing as above).
Call
For weekend and after hours, the call coverage includes 1 other facility Call information: After-hours/weekend calls can be managed over the phone.
Dates & schedule
Rot: 1wk on/off (or 2 on/off). Starts/Ends Thurs 5p. M-F (8a-5p) In-House: Stress, graphics, TEE/DCCV, consults. Nights (5p-8a): Mon-Wed, Fri & Thurs start. Wknd 24h (8a-8a): Sat-Sun.
