Shift Details:

• Estimated Start Date: January 1, 2027
• Requested Date of Coverage and Schedule: ASAP - 26+ weeks
• Schedule Details: Shifts start at 7 AM on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and 8 AM on Wednesdays. No Call.
• Number of Shifts Needed per Month: Full-Time preferred, must be able to do at least 2 weeks/month
• Shift Details:
  • Shifts are generally 8-11 hours in length, likely closer to 10-11 hours when working at inpatient sites. Shifts may run longer or shorter dependent upon assigned case progression, add-case volume, and overall staffing. Providers should expect to finish their room and potentially pick up other room(s) in the afternoon depending on case volume and staffing needs.
  • No fixed shift requirements
  • Recent experience working solo is required. Experience or interest in occasionally working with CRNAs preferred.
• Procedures: General cases, occasional regional cases; no cardiac, liver, or neuro cases
• Certifications Needed: ACLS; BLS; DEA Controlled Substance Registration Certificate
• Years of Experience Needed: 2
• Patient Population/Case Load: Adults and adolescents 13 years and older
• Case Mix: Hospital OR coverage, typically general cases, occasional regional cases
• Trauma Level: Level 1
• EMR in Use: Epic
• Additional Notes:
  • No options for just outpatient work. Providers will be floated from high acuity inpatient to outpatient, as well as options for ambulatory surgery centers.
  •  Providers must be able to cover both inpatient and outpatient procedures. NO cardiac, liver or neuro cases.
  • Trauma experience is strongly preferred.
  • Regional anesthesia experience preferred, but can be evaluated on a case by case basis.
  • Must have recent experience at tertiary care centers
  • Prefer candidates with medical center experience
  • Will predominantly work solo in the operating room, only occasionally overseeing CRNAs
  • Trauma exp strongly preferred
