Shift Details

• Requested Date of Coverage and Schedule: As soon as credentialed - 6 month assignment with option to extend
• Schedule Details: Weekend coverage, Friday 6PM through Sunday 6PM
• Required Duties:
  • Pre-Op Physical Exams
  • Suture Removal
  • Diagnose Illnesses
  • Treat Illnesses
  • Order Tests
  • Interpret Tests
  • Assist in Surgery
  • Write Prescriptions
  • Coordination of Care
  • Rounding
• Required Procedures:
  • Placement of Central Venous and Dialysis Catheters
  • Placement of Arterial Lines and Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps
  • Endoscopic Retrieval
  • No Balloon Pumps
• Certifications Needed: ACLS; BLS
• Patient Population/Case Load: 10 patients per day
• Patient Age Demographic: Adolescent/Adult/Geriatric
• Case Mix: Inpatient only; Inpatient consults: OR assist: patient management on step down unit
• Trauma Level: Level 1
• Additional Note: No new graduates. Must be local. Must be able to cover both sites. Must have experience in Epic EMR System.
