Shift Details

- Schedule Details: Monday - Thursday: Full Day; Friday: Half Day; 5 Days per Week (8 Hours) 7:00 AM - 2:55 PM
- Number of Shifts Needed per Month: 5 days per week
- Procedures: Performs in-office physical assessments, reviews medical history, interprets diagnostic tests/results, conducts preventive health screenings, educates patients and families, maintains patient records, performs office-based specialty care medical procedures, identifies ways to improve outpatient specialty care, and performs other duties as assigned.
- Certifications Needed: BLS; DEA Controlled Substance Registration Certificate; NRP – Neonatal Resuscitation Program
- Experience Needed: 3 Years Minimum; Must have recent experience with and be comfortable with HIV patients.
- Requirements: Board Certification - Master's Degree in Nursing or Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies, Valid NC RN and Nurse Midwife or NP License, ANCC or NCC for NPs, AMCB or PNCB, Valid NC PA License
- Patient Population/Case Load: 12-15 patients per day; Adult population
- Case Mix: Conducting preventive health screenings, and providing specialty care.
- Practice Setting: Outpatient
- Support Staff: RNs, CMA, Physician
- EMR in Use: Epic
Licensing and Privileging
- License: An active North Carolina state license is required.

- - MUST have recent experience with and be comfortable with HIV patients. Performs in-office Physical Assessments Of The Patient, Reviews Their Medical History, And Interprets Diagnostic Tests/Results In Order To Provide Effective Treatment For The Patient.
- - Conducts Preventive Health Screenings Based On The Patient'S Age, History, And Unique Needs To Provide Proactive Health Care.
- - Educates Patients And Their Family About Specialty Care Medical Conditions, Treatment, And Follow-Up.
- - Maintains Record Of All Patient Care In Order To Ensure Accurate Patient History Is Recorded Across Offices.
