Shift Details:

- 10-Hour Shifts: 8:30 AM – 7:00 PM
- 12-Hour Shifts: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM (Thursdays start at 7:00 AM)
- Procedures: General, orthopedics, trauma, plastics, neurosurgery, pediatrics (ages 5 and up), endoscopy, NORA, robotic surgery, gynecology, and ENT
- Case Mix: No hearts, no OB, and no blocks.
- Duties: Assess, prepare, and manage patients; develop and implement anesthetic plans; perform H&P; obtain informed consent; perform pre-anesthetic and post-operative assessments; and manage airways.
- Certifications Needed: CRNA Certification, ACLS, BLS, DEA Controlled Substance Registration Certificate, PALS
- Practice Setting: Outpatient, 100% Operating Room / Procedural Anesthesia.
- Trauma Level: Level 1
- EMR in Use: Cerner
- Additional Note: Providers must be credentialed/capable of managing General Anesthesia, Regional Anesthesia (Epidurals, Spinals, IV Regional), MAC, and invasive monitoring/placement (CVP/CVC, pulmonary artery catheters, intra-arterial lines) as dictated by the medical direction plan.

Day to day
Is Hospital Stroke Certified?: Yes Medical Direction. The CRNA to Anesthesiologist ratio will be 2:1 or 3:1. Other anesthesia providers will be present during coverage. Assess, prepare, and manage patients; develop and implement anesthetic plans; perform H&P; obtain informed consent; perform pre-anesthetic and post-operative assessments; and manage airways.
Practice details

- Setting: 10-Hour Shifts: 8:30 AM – 7:00 PM. 12-Hour Shifts: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM (Note: Thursdays have a delayed start at 7:00 AM).
