Day to day
Reason for Locum need: Vacancy - Open Position There is a PA who works closely with the MD - they do have two separate schedules, and the PA is always the 1st assist in surgery. Time allowed for new patient visits: 60 minutes Time allowed for follow up visits: 30 minutes Onsite Support: RN MA APP Is APP Supervision required by the Locum? Yes

Case mix
- Setting: OP
- Hospital Type: Metropolitan
- Surgery times are usually all day Monday and Tuesday, then they'd like to have Wednesday - Friday schedules filled, if possible.
Call
There is no call coverage responsibilities, just accepting calls on post-op surgical patients during the week the locum is scheduled.

Other details
The GYN Oncology team is located within the OBGYN clinic, so there is great collaboration with the referring providers. They provide all the necessary equipment and instruments that they use on a regular basis. They have an OBGYN resident program, so if the locum is interested or enjoys involvement with residents, it would be helpful.
