Shift Details

- Procedures
- Skin/nail biopsies, simple excision and repair, and general dermatologic surgery
- Electrosurgery and cryosurgery
- Management of contact dermatitis, allergic/non-allergic skin disorders, skin cancers, tumors, and cosmetic disorders (scars, hair loss)
- Interpretation of tissue sections, cellular scrapings, and smears
- Note: No Mohs surgery and no cosmetic surgery required.
- Patients Per Shift: Approximately 24-32 patients, with 15 to 20 minutes per visit.
- Case Mix: 100% Outpatient (Mix of in-clinic and virtual visits).

Is Hospital Stroke Certified?: Yes Reason for Coverage: Extra Volume Core Responsibilities: Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and provide consultation for patients of all ages presenting with benign and malignant disorders of the integumentary system, as well as sexually transmitted diseases. Equipment Provided: DAX AI, Essentia Health phone, webcam/headset, DermLite, and Hyfrecators.
