Shift Details:

• Schedule Details: 1 week per month, plus 1 weekend of call coverage per month. Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Weekend Call Schedule: Starts Friday at 4:30 PM and runs continuously until Monday at 7:30 AM.
• Number of Shifts Needed per Month: Flexible, based on coverage needs
• Procedures: Candidates must possess all necessary qualifications to confidently perform the full suite of GI procedures and clinical responsibilities included in the facility's finalized scope of practice.
• Patient Population/Case Load: 10-15 patients per shift
• Case Mix: Inpatient hospital-based GI coverage

Licensing and Privileging:

• License: An active North Carolina state license is required.
• Willing to License: No
• Estimated Privileging Timeline: 60-90 days

Job Description:

We are seeking a Board Certified Gastroenterology Physician for a locum tenens position in North Carolina. This opportunity involves providing inpatient hospital-based GI coverage. The facility is flexible and willing to accept one candidate to fulfill the entire requirement (weekday shifts + weekend call), or two separate providers to split the weekday coverage and the weekend call into separate assignments.
