Additional Information:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Infectious Disease Physician to join our team in Georgia. This is a locum tenens position offering a unique opportunity to work in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The role involves alternating weeks of inpatient call and outpatient clinic duties, providing comprehensive care to a diverse patient population.

Day to day

Is Hospital Stroke Certified?: Yes Rounding: Both Must support outpatient office needs during call weeks (handling prescription refills, reviewing/signing orders, and addressing staff queries). Reduced-volume clinic shifts may be scheduled during call weeks based on practice volume and need. Follow-Up / Non-Call Week (Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM): Workday Hours: Standard 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM shifts. Clinic Schedule: Clinic is scheduled Monday through Thursday, typically covering 2 to 3 clinic shifts (either AM or PM blocks). Scope of Care: Direct hospital follow-up visits and standard outpatient clinical care.
