Shift Details

- Schedule Details: Hourly Shifts + Weekend Call. Monday – Friday (7A – 3P); Weeknight Call 5P – 7A; Weekend Call 7P Friday through 7A Monday (round on step down units with surgeons, half day or less, then carry pager)
- Procedures: Endoscopic vein harvesting experience, 1st assist required. In addition to CABG’s and robotic cases, the facility also performs several open and TAVR valves each week. Occasional LVAD and Impella placements required.
- Certifications Needed: Relevant certifications for Cardiothoracic Surgery
- Patient Population/Case Load: Patient Volume: 15-25 (inpatient), Caseload 5-8 CABG per week, 4-6 robotic thoracic/chest cases
- Case Mix: Advanced Heart Failure
Licensing and Privileging
- License: An active North Carolina state license is required.

Case mix
- endoscopic vein harvesting experience, 1st assist required. in addition to the CABG’s and robotic cases, the facility also does several open and TAVR valves each week. Provider will work closely with a strong advanced heart failure team requiring occasional LVAD and Impella placements.
