Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner specializing in Cardiology to join our team in Oregon. This locum tenens position offers a unique opportunity to work in an outpatient setting with a focus on providing exceptional care to our patients. The ideal candidate will be board eligible and have a passion for cardiology.
The position requires working three days a week, specifically on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You will be responsible for managing a case load of approximately 12 patients per shift. This role is initially offered as a 6-month contract, with the potential for extension based on ongoing needs.

Day to day
Is Hospital Stroke Certified?: Yes Core Duties: Provide on-campus supervision for echo and nuclear exercise stress tests. Supervise in-office cardiac device checks and stress tests performed by the cardiac device tech. Review and sign off on cardiac device checks. Interpret EKGs. The locum provider will not have admitting privileges. They will only require outpatient privileges to see clinic patients and supervise outpatient testing in both the clinic and hospital settings.
