  • Schedule Details: 3 days per week (Preferably Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). 10-hour on-campus shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM).
  • Patient Population/Case Load: 12-14 patients per shift
  • Case Mix: Inpatient, Outpatient

Licensing and Privileging

  • License: An active Montana state license is required.
  • Willing to License: No
  • Estimated Privileging Timeline: 120 days - temporary/emergency privileges available

Day to day

Admissions Required?: Yes Is Hospital Stroke Certified?: Yes Rounding: Assigned Patients - Admissions & Compliance: Review/approve SNF admissions, complete comprehensive H&Ps, and conduct - required CMS compliance and recertification visits for all residents. - Ongoing Medical Management: Provide primary care, chronic disease management (especially dementia and frailty), and annual wellness assessments for residents. - Acute Care & Triage: Manage acute condition changes to reduce unnecessary emergency department transfers and hospital readmissions. - Care Planning: Develop and update individualized care plans, oversee palliative/comfort-focused care when appropriate, and lead goals-of-care discussions with families. - Medication Management: Prescribe, monitor, and adjust medications while reviewing consultant pharmacist recommendations for safety.
