Shift Details:

• Estimated Start Date: October 1, 2026
• Requested Date of Coverage and Schedule: As soon as credentialed - 6 month assignment
• Schedule Details: Hospital Based all inpatient - OR/ICU/Rounding of patients in ER and floors M-F 8AM-5PM + call
• Number of Shifts Needed per Month: 3-10 coverage days each month (variable), inclusive of at least 1 weekend per month; on call hours are 5pm-7am
• Procedures: Comprehensive care including outpatient clinic evaluations, surgical, pre-op, post-op, and critical care management of cardiac surgical patients
• Certifications Needed: Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery
• Patient Population/Case Load: Average Number of Patients Per Day: 10; Patient Age Demographic: Adolescent/Adult/Geriatric. ICU: Average of 7–10 cardiac surgery ICU patients (including 2–4 requiring ECMO/mechanical circulatory support)
• Case Mix: Practice Setting: Inpatient
• Trauma Level: Level 1

• License: An active Connecticut state license is required.
