- Procedures: Arterial lines, Central lines, Swan-Ganz catheters, IABP removal
- Certifications Needed: Relevant certifications for advanced cardiac management
- Patient Population/Case Load: 8-12 patients per shift
- Case Mix: Inpatient setting at Heart and Vascular Institute (HVI) Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CCU)
- Trauma Level: Level 1
- Advanced Cardiac Management Experience Required:
- VA & VV ECMO
- Impella devices
- LVAD (Left Ventricular Assist Devices)
- Cardiac transplant patients
Additional Information:
- License: An active Pennsylvania state license is required.
- Willing to License: No
- Estimated Privileging Timeline: 60-90 days

Day to day
Admissions Required?: Yes Is Hospital Stroke Certified?: Yes Clinical Duties: Managing HVI CCU patients under the guidance of an Intensivist. Responsibilities include daily rounding, patient management, order entry, admissions, and post-operative management.

- IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump) removal
