Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner specializing in Hematology/Oncology for locum tenens coverage in Oregon. Day to day
Is Hospital Stroke Certified?: Yes Outpatient Clinic & Infusion Suite only (No call, no hospital rounding). Charting Rule: On 10-hour schedules, patient appointments are strictly scheduled between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; remaining time is allocated for admin, InBasket, and charting completion. Practice Model: Onsite clinic practice at the hospital campus working alongside an Oncologist, with some days working independently. Clinical Duties: Direct outpatient hematology/oncology patient care and infusion suite patient management. Electronic chart management: InBasket management, reviewing/communicating lab results, and partnering with the nurse navigator for patient call triage. Multidisciplinary Support Team: Clinic includes Infusion RNs, Oncology Nurse Navigator, Medical Assistants, Oncology Dietitian, Social Worker, Schedulers, and specialized Oncology Palliative Care support.
