- Procedures: Coverage for unassigned OB patients, overseeing labor for both low-risk and high-risk OB patients, surgical management of C-sections, spontaneous abortions, and ovarian torsion, assisting private physicians with planned and unplanned C-sections
- Certifications Needed: Relevant OB/GYN certifications
- Patient Population/Case Load: 5-10 patients per shift; average of 7280 deliveries per year
- Case Mix: Inpatient
- Trauma Level: Level 2
Licensing and Privileging
- License: An active California state license is required.
- Willing to License: No
- Estimated Privileging Timeline: 30 days (Temporary privileges available)

Is Hospital Stroke Certified?: Yes Reason for Coverage: Vacancy - Medical Leave Unit Profile: 10 Labor & Delivery rooms 8 Antepartum rooms 18 Postpartum rooms 2 dedicated Operating Rooms (ORs) Subspecialty & Backup Support: Laborist backup and Perinatology coverage are available on-site/on-call.

- Coverage for unassigned OB patients, patients signed out by primary OBs, and unassigned GYN Emergency Department patients.
