    • Day Shift: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM (12-hour shift option available)
    • Night Shift: 11:00 PM – 6:00 AM (Note: Providers may occasionally get out closer to 7:00 AM; preference is to work 11:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
  • Number of Shifts Needed per Month: 4–8 shifts per month (typically in 1 or 2 blocks of 4 consecutive shifts, but flexible)
  • Patient Population/Case Load: 16 patients per shift; 37,000 patient visits annually across the department
  • Case Mix: Inpatient Emergency Department
  • Trauma Level: Level 3

Licensing and Privileging

  • License: An active Oregon state license is required.
  • Willing to License: No
  • Estimated Privileging Timeline: 90 days

Licensing & requirements

  • Active state license required
  • Estimated privileging: 90

Exclusivity Rule: The facility will not accept providers who will only work day shifts. ABEM or ABOEM Board Certified. (will not accept non-EM BC certifications)
