We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physician Assistant specializing in Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery to join our team on a locum tenens basis. Day to day

Admissions Required?: Yes Is Hospital Stroke Certified?: Yes Specific Responsibilities: Managing critical care recovery, specifically including managing patients coming off of ventilators.

Practice details

  • Not solo coverage
  • Shift pattern: Clinic;Day
  • Setting: Both DAYS and NIGHTS needed (7a to 7p and 7p to 7a), 7 days per week.

Case mix

  • Practice Setting: Inpatient
  • Patient Population: Pre-operative and post-operative cardiac surgery patients. This includes high-acuity patients coming directly out of the OR recovering from:
  • VATS (Video-Assisted ThoracoscopicSurgery)
