Day to day
Shifts are either 8 or 10 hours (7a–3p or 7a–5p), with 12-hour shifts typically available for call only. Some 12 hour shifts are available to enhance coverage for EP services.

Case mix
- Case variety includes general, GI, OB, neuro, vascular, ortho, healthy peds, ENT, urology, EP lab, MRI, and occasional IR cases.
Call
Typical call coverage is six weeknight shifts and one weekend shift every 14 weeks. Evening and weekend call is a 2nd call beeper from home or hotel; MDAs are 1st call. CRNAs are contacted for emergencies, complex cases, difficult airways.

The CRNA schedule is organized in a 14-week block rotation, including call coverage. We can offer a predicable, full-time schedule. - We operate under a supervision model: MDAs handle pre- and post-ops and are available for case management as needed. - CRNAs are mainly in the OR, while MDAs handle pre-/post-ops, orders, regional blocks, and assist as needed. - We strive for teamwork so that CRNAs and MDAs can provide one morning and one lunch break daily. - There’s opportunity for CRNAs interested in working independently including blocks, epidurals, etc. - We regularly perform spinals for C-sections and ortho total joints.
