Shift Details:

  • Requested Date of Coverage and Schedule: ASAP - Ongoing
  • Schedule Details: Full-time coverage needed. CRNA to assist with call rotation, with the biggest need on Mondays and Fridays. On average, 2 shifts every 6 weeks for call, including 1 weekday shift from 3:30 PM to 7 AM and 1 weekend day shift from 7 AM to 7 PM. Weekday shifts are 14 hours, may consider 13-hour shifts.
  • Number of Shifts Needed per Month: Full-time coverage
  • Procedures: CRNAs perform a full range of procedures including regional blocks, spinals, and central and arterial line placement. Required procedures range from general to trauma cases.
  • Certifications Needed: Must have trauma experience and be proficient in regional blocks, spinals, and central and arterial line placement.
  • Patient Population/Case Load: Annual case volume of 12,000 cases between two sites, with a cardiac volume of 700 hearts per year.
  • Case Mix: Cardiac, Orthopedics, General, Neurosurgery, Vascular, Endo, GYN, Robotics, and Trauma. No Pediatrics and No Obstetrics.
  • Trauma Level: Level 1

Day to day

Shift Days: Need CRNA to help with call rotation. Call is all IN HOUSE. On average 2 shifts every 6 weeks for call: weekend in house: 10s. 12, 14s; weekday needs in house: 12s, 13s, 14s and the 3p-11p shift M-F. EMR: iProcedures # of Operating Rooms: 15 % of supervising vs. own cases: 90% Supervision, 1:4 ACT: 19 Physicians and 28 APPs covering two hospitals

Practice details

  • Setting: Need CRNA to help with call rotation, Monday and Fridays biggest need. On average 2 shifts every 6 weeks for call, 1 weekday 3:30p-7a and 1 weekend day shift 7a-7p, need 14 hour shifts during the week, may take 13s

Case mix

  • Types of Cases: Cardiac, Orthopedics, General, Neurosurgery, Vascular, Endo, GYN, Robotics, and Trauma. No Peds and No OB.
  • Must be proficient in regional blocks, spinals and central and arterial line placement.
  • Required Procedures: General to Trauma/will consider non-trauma CRNAs for general cases.

Call

Would prefer CRNA who could help out with call rotation., but would consider CRNA without call.
