This is an exciting opportunity for a Board Certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join a dynamic team in Wisconsin. The position offers a mix of clinic and call responsibilities, with support from another Cardiothoracic Surgeon in town for cross coverage. The role involves handling thoracic and cardiac cases, with no requirement for vascular experience. Day to day
1 day of clinic, 4 Operating days. Support staff in clinic / hospital? Yes - 2 perfusionists, 3 APCs, speciality trained OR/IP staff. Clinic days: typically one day per week.
Practice details
- Not solo coverage
- Shift pattern: 24 Hour Call;Day + Night Call
- Setting: Clinic plus night call and weekend call. They round during the day, clinic patients are one day per week. they are on call 24 hours per day. Call is typically a weekly rotation.
Case mix
- Need Thoracic and Cardiac, they do not require vascular experience.

Call
Call is rotated weekly, night and weekend. 1:2 rotation for now but hoping for 1:3 as we hire more.
Dates & schedule
January 15th-April 30th, full time, but will have call help with another CTS in town who will help with cross coverage.
Licensing & requirements
- State license not required upfront
- We'll sponsor licensure if you're not yet licensed here
- Minimum 1 years' experience
- ACLS certification
- ATLS certification
- BLS certification
