Shift Details:

- Schedule Details: Variable 8, 10, 12 hour shifts + On call
- Procedures: Provide anesthesia care for patients undergoing cardiac surgical procedures, including CABG, valve replacements, and other complex cardiac surgeries.
- Certifications Needed: Relevant certifications required
- Patient Population/Case Load: Primarily adult and geriatric, some pediatric; Average 6-8 cardiac cases per day
- Case Mix: High volume inpatient heart center; Cases are primarily cardiac and vascular, no OB or trauma

Day to day
Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of anesthesia protocols and practices within the institute. Will NOT be required to supervise CRNAs

- Shift pattern: Shift+Call
Case mix
- Practice setting: high volume inpatient heart center
- Cases are primarily cardiac and vascular, there is no OB or trauma.
- The physicians provide general and regional anesthesia for a variety of endoscopic, cardiac, orthopedic, pediatric, obstetric, cosmetic, and general surgical procedures.
Call
On call: The call rotation is 1:5 with first call every eighth night, no second call.
