Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatrist specializing in Geriatric care to join our team in New York. This permanent position offers the opportunity to provide inpatient psychiatric care for geriatric patients on a 20-bed Geriatric-Psychiatry unit. The ideal candidate will be board eligible and hold an MD/DO credential.

Day to day
Coordinate care with system-level behavioral health leadership and resources Deliver patient-centered, evidence-based care addressing medical, psychiatric, and social needs of older adults Work within a multidisciplinary team of therapists, counselors, case managers, psychiatrists, and nurse practitioners Collaborate with a full-time Clinical Coordinator/Social Worker trained in geriatric psychiatry
