- Case Mix: Arrhythmias, Cardiomyopathy, Coronary artery disease (CAD), Congestive heart failure, Valvular heart disease

Day to day
Occasional weekend coverage as part of cardiology call rotation (time not specified) Provide non-invasive cardiology consultations and evaluations for patients with a wide range of cardiovascular conditions Diagnose and manage cardiomyopathy, coronary artery disease (CAD), arrhythmias, valvular heart disease, and other cardiac conditions Develop individualized treatment plans for patients based on clinical assessment and diagnostic findings Participate in the Congestive Heart Failure Clinic, providing ongoing management and care for heart failure patients Manage and monitor patients with lipid disorders and cardiovascular risk factors Conduct presurgical cardiac evaluations for patients undergoing surgical procedures Interpret and perform diagnostic cardiology testing including echocardiography and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) Provide inpatient cardiology consultations and participate in hospital-based cardiovascular management Participate in collaborative care with advanced practice providers (APPs), registered nurses, and medical assistants Contribute to management of patients with implantable cardiac devices, including pacemakers and implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs), including remote monitoring
