Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Hospitalist specializing in Obstetrics to join our team in Colorado. The successful candidate will manage gynecologic consults for acute issues during nocturnist shifts and perform urgent assessments and interventions for obstetric and gynecologic patients overnight.
You will collaborate closely with a supportive, collegial team of 8 OB/GYN physicians and 4 advanced practice providers (APPs). Your responsibilities will include providing backup coverage and support for complex cases with multispecialty teams onsite, and ensuring effective communication with day teams for smooth handoffs and continuity of care.
Working within a fully integrated Epic EMR environment, you will document all patient interactions, procedures, and consults. You will also participate in quality improvement initiatives and safety protocols in the OB unit, supporting a flexible schedule of 6–12 nocturnist shifts per month to maintain a sustainable work-life balance.
We are looking for a candidate who actively contributes to a culture of high-quality, patient-centered care that aligns with our mission to improve lives. You will handle emergency obstetric situations, including rapid response for maternal or fetal complications, and support the training and mentoring of residents or APPs if applicable during nocturnist shifts. Participation in hospital committee work or overnight process improvements as needed is also expected.
If you are a board-certified physician with a passion for obstetric care and a commitment to excellence, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity.
